We play a lot on the A3, so Main and testing server. AiA is just there to port all the old missions from A2. To be honest we haven’t played AiA for awhile.
Not even sure if the update to “release” has broken any of the coding/scripting in those old missions.
Go with A3, A2 is crazy huge to download and we hardly play it anymore.
Ye will be part of the special repo. Only time it gets used is when you have arma2 and arma3

All server’s are open to an extent. We have 3 servers, Main(running of finished/official missions), testing (Testing new mods/missions before release ect) and special(uuum, this runs all in arma which imports A2 to A3)
Offical nights are Mondays(when selection is on), Tuesdays and Sundays. Any other time you can jump on. During non-official nights we get some missions going.
So any other evening jump on at like 19:00-20:00 to see if anything is happening.

The official nights are Mondays(Sometimes due to selection), Tuesdays(Training) and Sundays(ZA missions)
The rest of the time just jump onto TS and see if there are missions being played. We normally get started around 7-8 on the non-official nights.

My post was in no way directed at you. I have seen you on afew times.
You dont need to be online all the time, but it helps getting to know some of the players before hand.
I was just mearly stating that doing selection is saying “i’m commited to the game and a fire team.”
Regarding sixer, best option is to use TS. Sixer is terrible, sometimes never shows who’s on.

Please note. There is no point in doing the selection if you are not dedicated to playing. Half of you I have not seen on the server ever.
Selection is for dedicated players who want to play milsim and play regularly. Going through selection and thinking you just going to rock up only for Sunday missions is NOT happening.
