Scheduled for Sunday the 2nd October
Description:
1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 05:00 hrs
Weather: Clear, 2Km VisibilityHappy Memorial Day weekend soldiers!
The cease fire called by the bad guy guerillas has now held for two weeks and you have all earned a well deserved rest this Memorial weekend.
However cause this is the Army and not the Air Force you will start your day with PT and light arms drill before hitting the holiday chow line for lunch and down time before this evenings USO shindig. Rumour has it that Pauley Shore is on his way to entertain you all with his unique brand of comedy. Which I am sure many of you would look forward to especially as he is such a friend of the military.
With the cease fire all weapons and equipment have been returned to the armoury which is not to be accessed unless needed.
A. Enemy Forces:
Enemy forces have withdrawn behind their lines thanks to the cease fire that is in effect.B. Friendly Forces:
ZA has been pulled back to Camp Sabre for the memorial day celebrations. Other Friendly forces that are been present at Camp Sabre are: Company B, 1st Battalion, 1st Aircav; Charlie Battery, 2nd Platoon, 1st Mobile Artillary Division; 2nd Platoon, Company A, 7th Mechanised infantry Division. These units have been stood down for servicing and repair during the cease fire.1) Aviation: AH-64D, UH-60, AH-6J.
2) Ground Vehicles: Wild Card, Odin
3) Maratime: NAC. Civilian Presence:
There are no civilains on the base as it is the weekend and all contractors have gone home.
2. Mission
Complete morning PT and light arms drill. ZA has been assigned the role of escorting MR Shore and acting as his security while he is in camp. ZA and it Medics will also qct as QRF is anything was to happen to the helicopter transmporting Mr shore to the base.
3. Execution
Form up 06:30. Proceed with morning PT (2 laps of the camp), then move to light arms drill (firing range), Escort Pauly Shore to the command tent. Fall out for afternoon chow. Dismissed till 19:00 for USO entertainment.
4. Service and Support
A. SUPPORT UNITS
Charlie Battery, 2nd Platoon, 1st Mobile Artillary Division – Wild Card
Company B, 1st Battalion, 1st Aircav – Ghostrider
Company A, 3rd Battalion, 7th Mechanised infantry Division – OdinB. MEDICAL SUPPORT
There is a medical building and medical vehicles in the camp in case of accidental injury.
