1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 01h00L 20 November 2024

Weather: Clear
US Marines have flown in a M1097 Avenger Anti Aircraft to replace one that was lost during an attack by Stratis rebels. The Vehicle is destined for Kamino Firing Range and will be departing Stratis Air Base at 02H15L for the short 20 minute drive. There is not much that happens on the small Island that the rebels aren’t aware of an they will certainly be aware of the arrival of a C-130 and it’s cargo. Likewise they will know where that new vehicle needs to go to replace the one they destroyed. Zulu-Alpha has been tasked by Command to ensure the safe arrival of the Avenger at Kamino by scouting the intended route and eliminating any possible threats. ZA has been provided with aerial and ground assets to use as they see fit.
Planned route Marine Avenger A. Enemy Forces:
Stratis rebels are scattered all over the Island and employ mostly gorilla tactics with quick hit and runs. They use mainly civilian vehicles with small arms and occasionally they get their hands on an RPG-7 or two. They do not have any AA weapons. There is a strong possibility of mines along the route. Expect the rebels to attack any advance recon teams.Stratis Rebels B. Friendly Forces:
Zulu-Company, Alpha platoon is stationed at Stratis Air Base
1) Equipment: Standard night equipment with resupply crates
2) Surveillance: None
3) Ground Vehicles: 2 x Refuel, re-arm, and repair trucks 23 x HMMWV_SOV_M2’s, 1 x Polaris
4) Fixed Wing: none
5) Rotary Wing: 1 x UH-60M, 2 x MH-6M Recon
6) Naval: None
Other friendly forces:
2 x Marines driving the Avenger to Kamino.
C. Civilian Presence: In towns but they don’t go out at night.
2. Mission
- Check the route marked and it’s close surrounding areas for possible ambush sites.
- Clear the route of any mines
- Once the route has been cleared escort the Avenger to Kamino when it departs at 02h15
