    1. SITUATION

    Situation Time: 05h00L
Lighting: Pre-Dawn, No Moon, Sunrise at 5:50AM, Visibility Poor
    Weather: Clear.

In the many months of deployment within Lythium and continued support from Zulu Company, Alpha platoon, FOB’s are now well stocked up and secured US strongholds. Intel has been immensely successful to intercept HICOM chatter which saved the lives of many US soldiers since deployment.

Recently, during their rotational duties of Zulu-Alpha managed to find themselves in an unfortunate situation whereby they are Situated at the Bush-lurker camp north from the Taliban Stronghold deep within the Superior Valley and is known to be a infested area of Taliban.

    AO Superior valley

From past experiences US intel knows that 50 Cal technical, Mobile ZU-23’s and Igla Teams are more likely to secure perimeter with a majority of Troops stationed within the valley.

The crux of the operation is that their interpreted and intercepted comms is that the Taliban have mobilized this force in preparation to seize the town north occupied with Civilians and Commit a mass Genocide as the Civilians are in cohorts with the US forces in exchange for their protection.

AO – Valley, Camp and Town

US intel by head count estimates around 30-40 civilians within the town Mafaraz, most probably sleeping. There is too little time to extract the civilian population and therefore authorized a Heavily offensive tactic with Air Support from the like of an AH-1Z Gunship and A-10 Warthog Fixed Wing.

The Intent from HQ is to take the fight to them and use aerial assets to provide a containment perimeter while the Ground troops clear.

We have the advantage of Superior Vision and Thermal optics, but a favorable numbers advantage for the enemy once day break.

Once Valley is Destroyed Troop needs to blow up any cache remaining
