1. SITUATION

The bloody raid on Gross Ellenberg (Objective Golf) this morning made it clear that the number of enemy forces were severely underestimated.

Zulu-Alpha managed to eliminate most of the enemy, taking heavy friendly casualties in the process, but failed to destroy their cache of explosives.

A civilian at objective Golf snapped a cellphone photo of the enemy loading the explosives into two box trucks, and Rosche intelligence managed to get the image from the civilian’s social media posts.

Rosche Intelligence fear that the Ultranationalists will accelerate their plans to attack the reconstruction of the main bridges on Federal Routes 191 and 71, before their explosives cache can be destroyed.
Construction on the bridges (designated “BRAVO 1” and “BRAVO 2” respectively) will be continuing into the night and they are vulnerable to VBIED attacks.

The Rosche government is extremely unhappy about the failure to destroy the explosives and even more so about the images showcasing the failed raid.

After heated discussions, they reluctantly decided to allow the deployment of armed gunships for the second phase of the operation.
Zulu-Alpha will be operating under amended rules of engagement, with the explicit proviso that civilian casualties must be avoided at all cost.

The new ROE allow for better surveillance and limited armed gunships.

A. Enemy Forces:
It appears that Objective Golf was the Ultranationalists’ secondary location, and that their main force is still located at Objective Hotel.
Their exact numbers are unknown, but given the force encountered this morning, their numbers are estimated to be approximately 50% higher, with some in reserve as QRFs.
They have also had 4 hours to harden their defenses with increased patrols, IEDs and mines.

The two VBIED box trucks are expected to be deployed against objectives “BRAVO 1” and “BRAVO 2”, although their routes and timing are not known.

B. Friendly Forces:
Zulu Company, Alpha platoon has been re-supplied and re-enforced after the raid.
Following the new ROE, ground crew completed arming the DAP’s door guns, two armed AH-6 Little Birds have been fueled up and a MQ-9 Reaper drone is ready for take-off.

2. Mission

A. Prevent VBIED trucks from attacking the bridge construction sites (Objectives Bravo 1 and Bravo 2).
B. Assault objective Hotel.
C. Clear the objective of all hostile forces.
D. Destroy all weapons and explosives caches.
E. Free any hostages.
F. Return to the airport.

3. General Instructions

The Ultranationalists have proven to be a formidable force and it is clear they will deploy any means to further their cause.
Ensure surveillance is utilized appropriately to prevent a repeat of this morning’s failures.
