1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 05:00hrs
Lighting: Dawn. Limited Visibility.
Weather: Morning fog. Expected to clear after sunrise.
A large Russian garrison stationed at the strategic military airfield island of Utes has gone dark. Our intelligence indicates that the forces on this island have gone rogue, and intend to fire on anyone who approaches. Russia, in an attempt to make an example, has vowed to wipe them out.President Trump, in an attempt to show off his military prowess, has taken the initiative and sent the 11th Carrier Group to cleanse the island first. To prove the American Army’s superiority, Pres. Trump has given orders that the assault is conducted only by a surgical strike force. This force is Zulu Company, Alpha Platoon.
The 11th Carrier Group The 11th Carrier Group has been stationed a few kilometers from the island of Utes. The morning fog has been used to conceal the approach of the group, as well as the upcoming insertion of the strike force. Be warned, there is a heavy AAA threat around the airbase. Also, bear in mind that we will be engaging a well equipped, well trained and prepared enemy force. Do not just run in gung-go, you will fail. This mission will require strategic planning, tactical use of assets, as well as slow, carefully considered coordination and movement between units. Get it wrong, and everyone will be dead. And that won’t make Pres. Trump happy!A. Enemy Forces: Conventional Russian military made up of at least a platoon of infantry, light skinned vehicles, light armor, AAA and air assets.
