    Description:

    1. SITUATION

    Situation Time: 18h15hrs

Lighting: Dusk, Dark in approx. 1.5 hours. Waxing phase moon.

Weather: Partly cloudy sky, Unlimited visibility.

Zulu-Alpha was tasked with training Takistan Republic Regular Infantry (TRRI) stationed at FOB Viper in maintaining security in the region. FOB Viper is positioned just South of the Shapur oil processing facilities, and provides security for the state owned facilities.

Zulu-Alpha is currently en-route via C130J, and was expecting to touch down in an hour and meet FOB Viper’s CO, Maj. Qadib, at the airfield before moving to FOB Viper.

ATC has just relayed that the Shapur oil processing facilities, as well as FOB Viper have come under heavy attack from organised terror militias. The TRRI has sustained heavy casualties, but is currently able to hold the enemy forces at bay behind Phase Line Anaconda.

We have received a report that Maj. Qadib is MIA. In the attack, Maj. Qadib was a passenger in a UH-60 which was orbiting the area to provide intelligence and fire support to ground assets. The UH-60 went down somewhere in the NE of the Shapur Oil Processing Facilities.

Zulu-Alpha is to assist in stabilizing the situation in the Shapur region by recovering Maj. Qadib as a primary objective.
