Description:

1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 05:30 hrs, 24 September 2016

Lighting: Clear Skies, expected Thunderstorm later during the morning

Weather: Unlimited visibility at start.

Early on Saturday the 23th September around 07H45, radar and radio activity increased on Sahrani island. NATO has sent in a Navy Seal Team to perform a short reconnaissance mission to gather Intel. Later in that morning around 11H00, a part encrypted message was intercepted after which, radio silence. Radar Activity has still been on the increase in which HQ believes are reinforcements

The message was translated and reads as follows…

“Meeting at 07H30 at nearby Military Airfield”

Zulu Alpha was then tasked and during the cover of darkness on 23 September, managed to sneak onto land during the early hours of the morning and established a small FOB airfield code name “Alabama”. From what HQ has learned during the night time reconnaissance the message seems to be directed towards three military targets in which HQ has dubbed them  “The Three legs of a Tripod…”

Furthermore Intel has located the three HVT’s locations by means of Triangulation methods and hacking their profile and e-mail accounts. In the process the ICT department has pinpointed their locations. In the process they managed to find a Group photo in what HQ believes are the HVT’s

Operational code names were given to each of them:

Esmond Ivan (Vanya) Ruslanovich (Red Berret) – Code name: “LION”

                – Expert at Land Combat

Igor (Igorek) Valerianovich (Blue Berret) – Code name: “SHARK”

                – Expert at Naval Warfare

Bugakov (David) Yanovich (Black Berret) – Code name: “BEAR”

                – High Ranking Officer

 

Based on their current co-ordinates, HQ has drafted up an estimated departure time for each target in order to reach their destination on time. Eliminating them at their current position are vital as HQ doesn’t have enough time to determine a route they would each take, none of them are to leave their current location nor reach their destination, also all abilities to communicate their situations at hand must be destroyed.

“BEAR” – Leaving at 07H20

A. Enemy Forces: Joint forces of the Russian Military and the Spetnaz elite fighting forces are stationed in and around HVT’s locations. Intel has also observed around 4x T72 military tanks and multiple foot mobiles station at the border crossing between main island and South Saharani.

B. Friendly Forces: Friendly forces are stationed at FOB Alabama.

1) Equipment: Standard NATO equipment at start.

2) Surveillance: None

3) Ground Vehicles: 3x unarmed Prowler, 2x Armed Prowler, 2x HEMMT (Medical, Repair,)

4) Fixed Wing: None

5) Rotary Wing: 1x V22 Osprey, 1x MELB-MH-6M (unarmed), 1x CH47

Other friendly forces: None

C. Civilian Presence:  Present in Main suburban area. Little in and around outlying towns/villages

 

2. Mission

1. Primary: Eliminate “LION”, “SHARK” & “BEAR”
2. Secondary: Destroy the two communication radar dome before they can transmit the situation at hand

3. Excecutions

ZA are to case-study the below UAV Video from Intel and draft up a quick strike action plans for each operation. Speed, Accuracy and Communication are vital to the success of the mission. Linger too long at one, loose time at the next
