1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 16:00 hrs

Lighting: Fading to dusk

Weather: Good Visibility, Cloudy

NATO forces have been driven out of Altis by Insurgent forces that have successfully executed a military coup.

In the hasty evacuation that followed, NATO was forced to move to the northern mountains of Altis while evacuating forces via long range helicopter transport.

With ZA Platoon acting as rear guard at FOB PORK CHOP, the enemy has taken control of the airspace.  This leaves ZA stranded until a naval artillery barrage can be organised.

 

A. Enemy Forces: Little is known about the enemy force capabilities, other than the fact that they are well equipped for mobile warfare.

The northern mountains of Altis are, however, not well occupied by the enemy, not yet. On evacuation, several infantry patrols, IVF’s etc were noticed active in the area.

Intelligence believes they have motorized, mechanized, and limited armor capabilities, as well as possibly armed helicopters.

 

B. Friendly Forces: You’r entire platoon is located at FOB Pork Chop.

 

 

1) Equipment: Limited equipment is available at the FOB.

5) Rotary Wing: 1x MH-6M, with limited fuel

6) Naval: None

2. Mission

Your only objective is to hold the FOB and survive until naval artillery becomes available.

 

3. Service and Support

A. SUPPORT UNITS

Naval artillery support is expected to come online within 2 to 3 hours.

B. MEDICAL SUPPORT

Zulu-Alpha handles medical requirements internally.

C. LOGISTICAL SUPPORT

Zulu-Alpha handles logistical requirements internally.
