1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 21:30L 14 August 2016
Lighting: Night, Dark moon.
Weather: Clear skies.
Day 3. Zulu-Alpha started clearing the MSR to Marwey Airfield. Heading toward the first Objective along the road, Geydam Tchoukou, we were attacked from the small town of Barawas. Barawas became the main objective and was subsequently cleared. ZA went on to clear Geydan Tchoukou which turned out to be a easy task with minimal insurgents present. We returned to Barawas to bring humanitarian aid to the people.
2. Mission
- CO to direct mission of the day.
- Avoid civilian casualties where possible
