Operation Squatters

1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 01:30L 5 June 2022

Lighting: Dark moon

Weather: Clear, unlimited visibility.

Moray Island is situated about 4km off the NW coast of Malden. It was active during the cold war due to it’s isolation and the runway but has been abandoned since 1985. recently a fishing trawler passed close to the island and received sporadic  weapons fire. They managed to get away and reported the incident to the harbor authorities. Malden coast guard investigated by approaching the island at night. They were quickly sent on their way by accurate sniper fire followed by inaccurate HMG fire. Malden forces don’t have the capability to launch a strike on the island and remove the illegal elements.  Malden Authorities have managed to obtain a single drone image of the island and have learned that two new structures have been erected at the airfield. One  complex consists of two domes possibly used as labs. The other is a makeshift prison of sorts with mobile medical offices. It is believed that the island may be used to manufacture chemical weapons and that they are experimenting on humans. Malden authorities have requested that the operation be kept covert so as not to cause panic on the main Island. Zulu-Alpha have been tasked to infiltrate island.

A. Enemy Forces:

Satellite imagery shows multiple enemy squads roaming the island as well as light technical. A number of people wearing lab clothing have been seen moving between the town and the domes.

B. Friendly Forces:

Zulu-Alpha is located at a farmhouse on the hills west of Goisse.

1) Equipment: Standard night equipment. Silenced weapons.

2) Surveillance: None,

3) Ground Vehicles: Civilian vehicles at the farmhouse.

4) Fixed Wing: None

5) Rotary Wing: None

6) Naval: 5 x SDV Subs, 2 x Zodiac, 5 x water scooter. All situated at the harbor west of Goisse.

Other friendly forces: None

C. Civilian Presence: It is believed that civilians are being kept in the makeshift prison.

2. Mission

1. Eliminate hostile forces from the island. Arrest the scientists and look for intel regarding the operations on the the island
2. Free the civilians but leave them on the island. Malden medical staff will fly in as soon as the enemy force is eliminated
3. Upon successfully eliminating ALL enemy forces Malden authorities will have a Chinook placed under command of Zulu-Alpha. The team and any captured enemy should head to Malden main airport to complete the mission.
4. Suspected hazardous material should be vaporized with explosives.

3. General Instructions

1. KIT-UP INSTRUCTIONS. Get a backpack and remove your vest. Move all the inventory in your fatigues to you backpack. Equip yourselves with Survival fatigues, Rebreather vest and diving goggles from any of the crates on the lawn next to the farmhouse. Get the rest of your kit as normal. Make sure to save your loadout.
2. Respawn and re-supply will be at the harbor west of Goisse
3. Minimize civilian casualties.

4. Specific Instructions

Dragon 0 should take a Combat Support Tablet to communicate with the Chinook
