1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 04:45 hrs

Lighting: Clear

Weather: 3Km Visibility

ZA Ranger Troop Delta is stationed in the Kunduz region of Afghanistan and has been assigned with the task of patroling the area and ensuring that local insurgent forces are forced out of the area.

A. Enemy Forces: Enemy forces are typical Afghani insurgent forces, armed with Soviet Era small arms. The insurgents are firmly entrenched in the AO and have completley dominated the local population. as such there are no friendlies in the area and any military aged may can be considered an enemy combatent
