The 1st MEU left Altis several weeks ago, along with the bulk of Coalition forces. The new Altis government has reacted aggressively to the insurgency and has committed human-rights violations in an attempt to suppress it, particularly in the Kavala region of Altis. As a result, a UN rapid reaction force has been deployed for peace-keeping purposes and has administrative control of the Kavala region of Altis. Your team has stayed behind as a COIN special operations detail, in support of peace-keeping operations, particularly in the protection of High value assets and personnel.
