Description:
1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 00:00hrs
Lighting: Fullmoon, Bright
Weather: Clear Skies with pockets of clouds, No wind
In a recent turn of events, the operational US bases around the island of Southern Saharani, some seeing intense military action and other falling into the hands of the Russian Federation. a Hand full of bases are left in our position, the situation is not dire, it’s a shit-storm.
The Current scenario according to our last Intel was as follows:
FOB Hammer (Artillery and Mortars) = Lost completely
FOB Rain (Storage and Supplies) = US possession.
FOB Sabre (Anti Airbase) = In a strong contest, Russians winning Base nearly lost.
FOB Iron Fist (Armour) = light contact, the US still very much in control.
FOB Main (Air Station) = US possession.
Zulu Alpha is stationed somewhere off the south from Southern Saharani grid location unknown on USS Harrington roughly 7 Kilometers out.
HQ believes that the recent loss of Artillery base has now fully compromised the intelligence network and has been barred from using any electrical communication devices, GPS, radios. etc and have to improvise in whatever means necessary.
The US Marines also stationed on USS Harrington and have been acting as air cavalry flying reinforcements into the Main base and have agreed that to assist Zulu-Alpha in getting to the main base pronto. They managed to discover a small corridor which they can sneak us in and onto the main base.
They have their orders to depart in 5min with or without you.
The nature of the situation has prompted HQ to provide a summarized assets list from each base.
FOB Hammer (Artillery and Mortars) = 3 Mortar Stations, 128 HE rounds
FOB Rain (Storage and Supplies) = Arms, Ammunition and discontinued old radio’s
FOB Sabre (Anti Airbase) = 3 AA stations, 1x AA armour
FOB Iron Fist (Armour) = 2x M1A1 Abraham tank, 2x IFV
FOB Main (Air Station) = 1x V44 Gunship, 1x Apache, 1 x A10 Warthog
The US Military Intelligence has been continually entering new data into their glitched simulation computer and have given the following outcomes in scenario-based warfare and speculating a Gain/Loss scenario for each.
FOB Hammer (Artillery and Mortars) = Gain: Discontinuation of enemy mortar fire, Loss: Ground on the FOB Iron
FOB Rain (Storage and Supplies) = Gain: Radio Communication. Loss: Complete loss of FOB Sabre
FOB Sabre (Anti Airbase) = Gain: Air Superiority, Loss: Ground on the FOB Iron
FOB Iron Fist (Armour) = Gain: Strong Armour presence, Loss: Strong Mortar on the Main base and FOB Rain.
The computer is well-known for their glitched results sometimes but considering what how much time we have we have to work with what we have.
Before the Radar network was lost, US intelligence detected east of FOB Hammer a few heat signatures which are possibly a staging area for the Russians.
HQ want’s these bases the be liberated from the Russians at all cost.
