Rules: All ZA Rules Apply. Read them and weep.

Server Parameters: Do not use other settings on the server, unless you are leading a patrol and want to do it specifically at night\day, then simple use the custom time settings to set the time. Everything else should be set to the below settings.

Operational Guidelines a.k.a commendations or coffins:

If everyone dies, the campaign is bust. “Do not get zapped”

If an operator is no longer combat effective due to serious injury, they might have to remain at the FOB until safe CASEVAC is available, This will be up to the Commanding Officer. “Can’t have your broke arse dragging along behind us can we?”

Resupply will be severely limited during the start of the campaign and PL’s are expected to manage their patrol’s ammunition and kit for the duration. “No hogging the M203 rounds dude!”.
(PDB is active, so no recording of kit will be necessary)

If a operator dies, his kit should be recovered and his body bagged and brought back to base. Respawn time is 7 days real-time. “Can’t be shooting at the enemy if we’re dead can we?”

There is no kit respawn. Kit that is left behind in the field is considered lost and will not be replaced. “Don’t complain if the enemy suddenly starts shooting at you with your own Gucchi weapons.”

Your actions have consequences. “Shoot enough civilians or blow up their houses and you can expect a nice welcoming committee of I.E.D’s and Snipers outside your FOB the next time you go out on patrol.”

The Commanding Officer will be responsible for mission taskings on Thursday mission nights as well as any other additional patrols and recce ops through the week.

If your patrol wants to go on a recce, patrol or a night out on the town outside of Thursday nights, the procedure is as follows:

    A. Check if there’s a tasking on the campaign thread.
    B. Get three more operators to go with you, one of you must be of Cpl rank or higher.
    C. Submit a plan to the Commanding Officer (two days beforehand if there’s no taskings). “If your mom says no, then you’ll have to go sharking around on another night.”
    D. Go on patrol or recce.
    E. Come back and post a AAR (After-Action Report) on the Recce Patrols and After Action Reports thread under the main campaign thread. “Paperwork sucks, but like condoms and kevlar, are necessary for future health.”

Aircraft and vehicles are only to be utilized if the Commanding Officer gives the thumbs-up. “This is to keep people from trying to truck-bomb the nearest town while under the influence of the local camel piss.”

There is no vehicle respawn. “If you break it or leave it behind in the field without fuel, some villager is going to strip it for scrap or the next time you see your RG-31, it’ll be starring in a special Al Qaeda episode of pimp-my-technical”

Destroyed vehicles\aircraft should be reported to the Commanding Officer.

You spawn wherever you last disconnected. “Even if it’s in the middle of a mine field surrounded by four thousand armed Opfor and a goat harem.”

“Good luck and have fun gentlemen”

    Update as at 042000ZAPR14
Sit: D-Troop have arrived without resistance at FOB Mike. There is little intel as to the disposition, numbers and equipment of Opfor forces in the area. Known enemy anti-air assets deny D-Troop resupply and air support while they are in place.

    Taskings:
    1. Clearance Patrol. Recce and clear the area immediately around FOB Mike (approx 300m).
    2. Recce Patrol. Recce NW Valley South, from the area of Al Jebel up to 1KM north of FOB Mike.
    3. Clearance Patrol.  Clear area immediately to the east of FOB Mike marked in WARNORD as suspected Manpad Team

LOE remains no further West than Al Jebel until further notice.

ANNOUNCEMENT: OPERATION TEETHCUTTER HAS BEEN PUT ON HOLD INDEFINITELY.
Due to only a few people still having A2 installed I’ve put the campaign on hold. If you have any ideas or suggestions for the campaign or would like me to make something similar for A3, send me a forum PM. Depending on the feedback I’ll have a look at either changing the A2 campaign or making a new one for A3.
